A class teaches you something. A community helps you keep it.
A 3-hour class produces a time-bound experience. You follow the instructor, complete the project, take it home. Without continued access to the environment, the tools, and the people who share the interest — the learning fades. Most of what you learnt in that class is gone within a month.
This is not a failure of instruction. It is a structural problem. A single session cannot create the repeated practice that builds lasting capability. And it cannot create the community that makes you want to come back.
What actually builds skill over time is the combination of three things: a consistent environment where you can practice freely, a community of people at different stages of the same journey, and expert guidance available when you hit a wall — not delivered on a schedule you didn’t ask for.

Unlimited access every evening. Heat press, vinyl cutter, drawing tablet, airbrush booth, soldering irons, FDM and resin 3D printers, laser cutter, large-format printer, and full art supplies. The environment is always there when you are ready to use it.
The MakerCraft Telegram group is where the membership lives between sessions. Members share work in progress, ask questions, give feedback, and book specialist appointments. It is the support network that keeps the practice going when you are not in the lab. No community membership with any single class gives you this.
MakerCraft Specialists are independent practitioners — people who make at a professional level in a specific discipline. They are in the lab regularly, active in the community, and available for one-on-one appointments when you need expert guidance. The difference from a class: you ask for help when you have a real problem, not when the schedule says so.

Full access to every machine in the lab — fabrication, digital, craft, and electronics. Bring your own laptop. A shared terminal is available for occasional use.
Standard consumables are provided. Specialist materials — filament, resin, vinyl, leather, fabric — are the member’s own responsibility.

MakerClass Master Series
Weekend specialist classes run by independent practitioners in the lab — leather craft, resin casting, digital fabrication, electronics, and more. Taught by people who make at a professional level. Not included in the membership fee, but MakerCraft members get first access to every class before it opens to the public.
